As a statewide nonprofit policy and advocacy organization the Partnership for Strong Communities offers exceptional programming on housing issues related to building strong, sustainable communities for all people across Connecticut’s demographic spectrum. The Partnership “plays a vital role in shaping solutions to end homelessness, develop healthy neighborhoods and to create more affordable housing opportunities for workers, young professionals and families.”
As an affordable housing advocate and practitioner, I have attended many of the Partnership’s iForums. They are an invaluable resource for understanding the need for multiple and complementary housing solutions, networking with other similarly motivated organizations, and developing collaborative solutions to solving housing issues locally, regionally, and statewide. I encourage anyone interested in building strong and healthy communities to attend these sessions to learn more about how to pave a clearer path to developing housing opportunities that serve everyone.
